Does IGTAP have an official Discord server?
Short answer: we cannot confirm one, and this site deliberately does not link to any invite. The developer's launch-day announcement "IGTAP has released!", posted to the Steam Community Hub on September 21, 2026, did reference a Discord server for community resources, mods and general chat. However, we have no way to continuously verify that server's ownership, moderation or current status, individual players reported being unable to join a Discord linked from the demo pages, and unofficial servers for small indie games are easily impersonated. So instead of sending you to an unverified invite, this page maps the community spaces we can verify, and explains how to evaluate any server you encounter on your own.
If you do find an IGTAP Discord through your own research, the safety checks at the bottom of this page apply. The official channels for the game itself remain the Steam store page and the Steam Community Hub.

The Steam Community Hub is the main verified space
For app 4364730, the Steam Community Hub functions as the de facto home of the IGTAP community, and it is where the developer actually works in public. Varii of Pepper Tango Games posts announcements and hotfix notes there, maintains a pinned bug report thread asking for platform, replication steps and detailed descriptions, and responds directly to negative Steam reviews — several launch-week reviews carry a "developer has responded" marker.
Discussion activity we can point to includes the omni-dash debate that preceded Hotfix #2, a "VMAN Best Path and Optimization" spoiler thread, progression questions such as the late-game "3Grp" thread, and demo-era threads about the end pit. The hub also hosts community guides, screenshots and the global achievement statistics. If you want to ask the developer something and be sure it lands where they read, this is the channel with the strongest track record.

r/IGTAP on Reddit
The subreddit r/IGTAP exists and is public — anyone can view, post and comment. Its best-known thread is "A Comprehensive Guide To IGTAP" by Sparrowning, posted around June 2026 for players who were struggling, with comments still noting releases such as the B-Side content. We could not retrieve the full guide body for verification, and the subreddit's size is not documented in our sources, so treat it as a small but real gathering point rather than a fully-staffed reference desk. For general incremental-game discussion, the developer has also posted IGTAP updates to r/incremental_games, which is where much of the game's early word-of-mouth happened.
speedrun.com/IGTAP
speedrun.com/IGTAP is the verified home for competitive play and doubles as a community space: the leaderboard structure itself documents how runners understand the game, with individual-level categories such as Level 1 Any% and Level 1 Glitchless, and variables covering Release version, starting abilities (No Upgrades, Doublejump, Dash), No Major glitches and A-Side. If you want to talk routes, glitches or timing with the people who optimise hardest, the speedrun community around these boards is the most focused group, and its version tags are a useful reminder that pre- and post-June 2026 builds had different glitch landscapes. Our speedrun guide summarises what the boards contain.
Demo pages: galaxy.click and itch.io comment sections
The free web demo has two comment sections where the developer was historically very active: the galaxy.click demo page and the itch.io page. During the demo era Varii answered mechanics questions (including clarifying that course 5 was not originally part of the demo), promised patches for reported bugs, and even replied to a discovered jump-plus-dash tech with a single winking emoticon. These threads remain a readable archive of demo-era community knowledge, though live development conversation has shifted to the Steam hub since the September 2026 release.

How to tell an official server from a fan one
If you encounter an IGTAP Discord invite anywhere, run these checks before joining or trusting it:
- Source: an official server should be linked from the developer's own Steam announcements or store page, not only from a video description, forum signature or direct message.
- Identity: look for the developer handle Varii or Pepper Tango Games among the staff, and check whether announcements there match the patch notes posted to the Steam Community Hub.
- Claims: be sceptical of servers advertising giveaways, free watts, mod downloads that require disabling security software, or "early access" to updates — none of that appears in any official IGTAP communication we have verified.
- Hygiene: a legitimate community server for a $9.99 indie game does not need your Steam password, trade offers or payment details.
For practical purposes, though, nothing is missing by skipping Discord entirely: between the Steam hub, r/IGTAP, speedrun.com/IGTAP and the creator videos covered on our wiki and resources page, every verified IGTAP conversation has a home.
