What the Steam listing contains

IGTAP: an Incremental Game That's Also a Platformer is sold on Steam as app 4364730, developed by Pepper Tango Games and published by Gamersky Games. The store page describes the game as an incremental that is also a platformer: you complete short platforming courses to earn currency, spend that currency on upgrades that generate even more currency, unlock movement abilities that open higher-income courses and faster routes, and explore the world for hidden bonuses.

The listing carries the official short tagline: "Amass an army of clones to follow your tightly-optimised path. Generate massive amounts of power to upgrade your production and movement abilities." It is categorised under Adventure, Indie and Simulation, with popular user tags including Incremental, Idler, 2D Platformer, Precision Platformer, Automation and Resource Management.

Price, bundles and the launch offer

The game is priced at $9.99 USD on Steam. At release it carried a 10% introductory discount, bringing it to $8.99, with the store page noting the offer ends October 5. It is not a free-to-play title; the free ways to try IGTAP are separate web builds covered on our free-to-play overview and demo page.

The store page also lists bundles, including the six-game Incremental Must-plays bundle and two-item bundles pairing IGTAP with Crown Siege and with Zero Stress King: Idle Defense. Bundles are optional; the base game on its own contains everything described on this page.

Features, achievements and accessibility

The Steam listing marks IGTAP as single-player with 29 Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud support and Family Sharing. The achievement set tracks movement unlocks such as wall jump and dash, course completions, secret upgrades and completionist challenges, and the community stats page shows global unlock rates for each one.

Two accessibility features are declared on the store page: Save Anytime under gameplay, and Custom Volume Controls under audio. The page also shows Full Controller Support with Xbox and PlayStation controllers listed. Steam Deck compatibility is shown as Unknown at the time of writing, so Deck owners should treat that status as unconfirmed.

System requirements and platforms

IGTAP is listed for Windows and SteamOS + Linux. The Windows minimum requirements are modest: Windows 10, a 2GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and 800 MB of available storage, with 4 GB of RAM recommended. The Linux minimums similarly call for a 2GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and 800 MB of storage. There is no macOS listing on the store page.

Because the requirements are light, most modern PCs and Linux gaming setups, including handhelds running SteamOS, should be able to run the game, though Valve has not published a verified Steam Deck rating for it.

Languages and localisation

The store page advertises English and 19 more languages, for a total of 20. Supported languages include English, French, German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Arabic, Czech, Finnish, Swedish, Romanian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

All listed languages cover the interface and subtitles; none are marked as full audio. The game's text-heavy upgrade kiosks and course panels are where localisation matters most, and a post-launch hotfix noted by the developer even addressed a softlock caused by an untranslated box in the Russian localisation.

Community hub, news and reviews

The Steam Community Hub for app 4364730 is where the developer, Varii of Pepper Tango Games, posts announcements and hotfix notes, responds to reviews and maintains a dedicated bug report thread. Review scores on the store page show a Mostly Positive rating from 430 purchaser reviews, with roughly three quarters of reviews positive.

You can browse discussions, guides, screenshots and the global achievement stats directly from the Steam Community Hub, or head to the official store page for trailers, screenshots and the current price. Community gameplay trailers, such as the one mirrored by PLAYREGION, give a good one-minute overview of the loop before you buy.
